ITS SUMMER!!! And we have a cleanup date coming soon!
Were going back to Holly State Recreation Area, inparticular the State Game Areas of Holly SRA. We were able to make a big difference in '09, I anticipate another great effort August 14th, 10am-2pm. We will be meeting at the DNR Station on Grange Hall Rd., just west of the entrance to the park. If you have any questions? Contact Us.
WHO WE ARE:
The Michigan Land Rescue Team is a committed group of volunteers known as the Soldiers of Preservation. Our goal is to return our state lands to the pristine condition in which they were found. We are comprised of sportsmen and women, dedicated to conservation and protection of publicly owned land.

WHAT WE DO:
Soldiers of Preservation meet on a regular basis at access sites, game areas, state parks to clean up and return these areas to a pristine condition. By developing relationships with Michigan Department of Natural Resources district directors, our soldiers can bypass the politcs and beauracracy to accomplish our goals with very little public funding in very short amounts of time. Our groups will complete these tasks at locations on a level of need and right now we are focusing on areas within a reasonably close proximity to our home base in Livingston County. We will begin to travel farther and farther as our orginization grows. If you have something to report, please do so on the Contact Us page.

We encourage you to enlist with MLRT, doing so will keep you up to date with the team.
